December 2022 – The Maryland Business Brokers Association (MBBA) just held their quarterly meeting and annual holiday party in Bethesda this past week. Our founder Dustin Zeher is currently the MBBA President and we had a fantastic event with nearly 50 people who took part in an afternoon of education, presentations, and networking, along with some great food. We’re looking forward to the next MBBA meeting in February 2023!

Dustin Zeher Receives IBBA Awards for 4th Consecutive Year
June 2022 – Congrats to Dustin Zeher on being named a recipient of both the Chairman’s Circle and Deal Maker Awards from the International Business Brokers Association (IBBA) as part of its annual Member Excellence Awards Program. He was presented with both awards at this year’s IBBA conference in Denver, Colorado. This marks the fourth consecutive year that he has been recognized by the IBBA for his work at Horizon Business Brokers.

Horizon Business Brokers Founder and Principal Broker, Dustin Zeher, was recently a guest on the Business Innovators Podcast with Mark Imperial. He shared his knowledge and insights on the current state of the business for sale marketplace, the impact of the “great resignation” on small businesses, and what business owners can do to set themselves up for success should they ever decide to sell their business.

Dustin Zeher Receives IBBA Award for 3rd Consecutive Year
We’re pleased to announce that Dustin Zeher was just named as a recipient of the Outstanding Producer Award from the IBBA – International Business Brokers Association as part of its annual Member Excellence Awards Program. “Business Brokers support the health of small businesses and communities worldwide, and these award recipients are among our industry’s best,” stated IBBA Executive Director, Kylene Golubski. “2020 presented many unique challenges, yet these individuals rose to the occasion and delivered impressive results.”
This marks the third consecutive year that he has been recognized by the IBBA for his work at Horizon Business Brokers. He will officially be presented with the award later this year at the annual IBBA conference. Congrats to Dustin on this achievement!

Dustin Zeher Named Outstanding Producer by IBBA
May 2020 – Congratulations to Dustin Zeher on being presented with the Outstanding Producer Award by the IBBA. This marks the second consecutive year that Dustin has been recognized by the IBBA as part of its annual awards program.
“This year’s honorees have proven themselves to be outstanding business brokers and it’s a privilege to recognize their accomplishments,” said IBBA Board Chair and Chief Governance Officer Barry J. Berkowitz. “It’s with great honor that we recognize and honor their high standards of skill and excellence which the IBBA strongly promotes.”

IBBA Presents Dustin Zeher with Two Prestigious Awards at Annual Conference
June 2019 — The awards included the Chairman’s Circle Award for closing one or more deals amounting to $3 million or more in total purchase price and the Deal Maker Award for selling at least 10 qualified businesses during the 2018 calendar year.
